My clownfish hosts the thermometer. Putting a clownfish in a tank isnt going to 100% host anything including anemones. I have seen clowns host xena and other similar type of corals. Unless the clownfish with a coral or anemone that it is already hosting there is no guarantee that putting a anemone or coral in the tank will make the clown host it.
