Saltwater aquarium parasite question?

Suddenly my 12 gal. aquapod has been over run with these small white string-like worms. They are just a little bit thicker as a strand of hair and range between 1 and 2 inches in length . What could this possibly be?

    It sounds like a hair- or spaghetti worm. I have some of the spaghettis in my tank too. Check out the photo close to the end of the article in this link:
