I just got a BioCube 29 gallon aquarium, I need help with the water level?

biocube
Justin asked:

This is the first time I am setting up my biocube . I had a question about where the water is pumped back up into the tank part of the system. On the side of the tank, there is a little piece that you can see in the tank. It has a max. water level and a min. water level tank. Once I filled the aquarium up with water the, water level was well over the max. level indicated on the locator. Once I brought the water level down to were it said max. you could hear the engine of filter working harder. Is this okay? Should I fill the water back up to the top, it seemed to be working fine then too. I really just do not know where to fill the water up to. This is also because in the inside of the tank it has a different water level than the one on the outside. Which should I fill it up to?

Is there a light timer on the Nano Cube or AquaPod ?

nano cube
Tuck asked:

I am considering buying either the nano cube 24g Dx with 72W CF lighting or the aquapod 24g with 150W HQI Metal Halide Lighting. I was wondering if there is a light timer included that you can set when the day lights turn on and off as well as the lunar night lights, in case im not at home some days?

Nano Cube 12G?

nano cube
guitaribanez13579 asked:

Hi, I’m buying a nano cube 12 Gallon from one of my friend’s parents for $50 for the filter, light, tank, hood, and bubbler. This is my first aquarium, so I don’t want to get a saltwater tank, it seems like too much work. What would the best set up be for this (fish, sand/gravel, plants, plastic cave things, etc.) tank? I sort of want some tetras, or other kind of schooling fish. I don’t really know anything about aquariums or fish at all. (I want fish that are fairly hardy, I don’t want to be buying new ones every week) and also want fish that don’t make alot of mess. Would getting a bottom feeder fish help? Thanks.
