Matter of choice. The first question I would have to ask, since both come pretty much “plug and play”, would be can the filters, lighting units and heaters be removed or replaced if something should happen, or does the entire hood need to be replaced? I have seen both where a new hood would be needed. I know they have changed these and honestly I have yet to see the new ones in the stores. (Not that I was looking for them) I would say since they are both the same I would worry more about which one comes apart for cleaning and/or repair.
