Im not sure what I should do. Should I go with a combo tank like the Red Sea Max complete aquarium (which looks fully complete), the biocube , nanocube , aquapod , or should I go with a conventional setup? The redsea max sounds like the best deal but the price is pretty steep. Im not concerned over money if its for the best but I also dont want to waste money on uneeded equipment. Im happy with 20-40 gallons. I dont care to go higher then that. Thanks for the suggestions!

If you are going for a reef tank, BIGGER is better. Salt tanks are VERY touchy when it comes to water temp and chemical makeup.

aquapod would be my choice persoanlly if i had to pick one. building a custom tank usually works out better, look on reef-central.com and nano-reef.com and wetwebmedia.com for ideas

I started with the Oceanic Bio Cube. My only gripe is the Compact Lighting, but its Highly dependable.
There is also JBL that has the metal Halides.
There is this other one that is 30 gallons, had everything, Metal halides, timer, skimmer, chiller, etc, it ran about 800 dollars. but its super nice. Look up froogle.com and type Nanoreef, nanocube, it may point you to the right direction.
